History of Patti Work Intially this craft was practised as a house hold craft by the women folk for articles like cushions and bedspreads as a part of their wedding trausoue. It is now commercially practised since last 7-8 years, unlike its traditional household existence. |

| Procedure |
| Patti work is generally done with free hand. The design is cut out from the fabrics and stitched on the other contrasting fabric. Stitching is done by hemming i.e., folding the corners of the cutting and stitching from the back. The sterns are embroidered in stem stitch. |
